Jasa Marga Predicts 2.18 Million Vehicles Leave Jakarta In The Nyepi And Lebaran Periods

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk predicts that as many as 2.18 million vehicles will leave Jakarta in the period of Nyepi and Lebaran 2025.

This figure increased by 1.1 percent compared to the Eid holiday period the previous year.

Jasa Marga President Director Subakti Syukur said the projected 2.18 million vehicles leaving Jakarta were the accumulation of vehicle movements from D-10 to D-2 before Lebaran.

Subakti said the movement was through four main toll gates, namely the main toll gates (GT) namely the Cikampek Utama GT, Kalihurip Utama GT, Ciawi GT and Cikupa GT.

"Proyeksi volume lintas keluar Jakarta atau kita biasa sebut arus mudik yang melalui empat anggur tol utama selama periode libur, Lebaran, dan Nyepi, adalah sebesar 2,18 juta kendaraan. Ini count Jasa Marga ya," tututnya dalam konferensi pers di Kementerian BUMN, Jakarta, Selasa, 4 Februari.

Furthermore, Subakti said this projection also includes the implementation of the work from anyware (WFA) scheme from March 24 to 27.

"This is up 1.1 percent against the Lebaran period in 2024. The increase is only 1.1 percent but from a large number, assuming this has included WFA, Work From anywhere," he said.

Subakti also said Jasa Marga predicts the peak of the homecoming flow will be on March 28, 2025 or D-3 Lebaran.

The total number of vehicles that will carry out the movement is 232,000 vehicles.

This figure is up 50 percent to normal traffic and down 9 percent from Lebaran 2024.

"And the peak of the homecoming flow during the holiday period, Eid, and PENpi later, we predict that it will occur on Friday, March 28 in 2025, or D-3 Eid, or if the day is short, namely H-1. With a traffic volume of 232,000 vehicles," he said.

Meanwhile, continued Subakti, the peak of Lebaran's backflow is projected to occur on April 6, 2025.

The total movement of vehicles will reach 276,000 vehicles or an increase of 62 percent compared to normal traffic and an increase of 3 percent against the Lebaran 2024 period.

The peak is D+5 with a cross formula of 276,000 vehicles, an increase of 62 percent to normal. This is a bit scary. In 2024, we will be overwhelmed. Later, of course, there will be a special scenario, because we with the existing scenario, still up 3 percent to the peak back in 2024. It's quite large if it's 3 percent," he explained.
