Oscar 2021 To Show Exclusively On Disney + Hotstar

JAKARTA - The 93rd Oscar awards ceremony which will take place on April 26, 2021 will be broadcast live and exclusively on the Disney + Hotstar platform.

The event, which is produced by Jesse Collins, Stacey Sher, and Steven Soderbergh, is scheduled to be broadcast live from Union Station Los Angeles and Dolby Theater at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, as well as other international locations via satellite.

Later, the event begins with a pre-show titled OSCARS: Into The Spotlight at 05.30 WIB before the award ceremony begins at 07.00 WIB.

The three-hour event will feature famous hosts such as Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, Bong Joon Ho, Don Cheadle, Bryan Cranston, Laura Dern, Harrison Ford, Regina King, Marlee Matlin, Rita Moreno, Joaquin Phoenix, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Renée Zellweger, and Zendaya.

After the award ceremony, you can also feel closer and personal with the award winners at the live OSCARS After Dark event at 10.35 WIB.

You can watch exclusive interviews with the winners on the award nights and see the behind-the-scenes process of Hollywood's biggest night, inviting you to feel the excitement both on and backstage, and observe the moments that occur when the best actors and actresses get together.

If you missed the live broadcast, the entire show will also be available on Disney + Hotstar from April 26 to May 20, 2021.

Regarding the Oscars 2021 nominations, one of the films on the list is Searchlight Pictures' "Nomadland" which will be available to stream exclusively on Disney + Hotstar starting Friday, April 30, 2021.

Nomadland has received six Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Actress in a Leading Role for Frances McDormand, and Directing for Chloé Zhao.

Along with Nomadland, Disney + Hotstar is also the home of various Oscars nominations in 2021, such as Onward, Soul, the animated short Burrow, Mulan and The One and Only Ivan.
