Tangerang-Jakarta Toll Road Is Badly Congested, Allegedly Due To Flood Inundation
TANGERANG Severe congestion occurred on the Tangerang-Jakarta toll road on Tuesday, March 4. Traffic congestion occurred at two main points, namely at Km 0 to Km 6 and again occurred at Km 20 towards Jakarta.
The Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road PJR Kainduk, AKP Andy Pradana, said that traffic jams did not occur as a whole, but at certain points. "If Km 0-6 is jammed, then there is another traffic jam at Km 20. But there is also a road section that is still smooth," Andy said when confirmed.
Based on the information received, there is a puddle of water at Km 4 which is suspected to be the cause of traffic jams. However, the police are still checking further to determine whether the main cause of traffic jams is flooding or accidents.
