BYD Exports Soared 188 Percent In February, Global Sales Touched 322,846 Units
JAKARTA - Build Your Dream (BYD) sold vehicles globally in February at 332,846 units, up 8.9 percent (296,446 units) in January.
Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Tuesday, March 4, BYD's sales data covered from three sub brands, namely Denza, which was able to sell 8,513 units, Fang Cheng Bao 4,942 units, Yangwang 105 units and BYD from the Dynasty and Ocean series itself 304,673 units.
Not only that, from the Carnewschina report, quoted on Tuesday, March 4, this Chinese brand also managed to export 67,025 record-breaking vehicles, up 187.8 percent year-on-year.
To boost export ambitions, the Shenzhen-based manufacturer plans to have eight car carriers next year (2026).
Currently, this well-known brand from China already has four ships operating, the most recent of which is the BYD Shenzhen RoRo ship, which was lowered from the dock on January 16 in China.
The ship is also BYD's largest airline with a length of 219 meters and a capacity to accommodate 9,200 cars.
