File Has Not Been Completed, Vadel Badjideh's Detention Period Plus

JAKARTA - PLH Kasie Humas Polres Metro South Jakarta, Kompol Nurma Dewi said that Vadel Badjideh's detention period on reports of alleged abortion of Nikita Mirzani's child was extended.

"So related to the case reported by NM and then VA has become a suspect, then detained for the next 20 days, the filing is still ongoing, therefore, investigators have added for his detention to the next 40 days," said Nurma Dewi at her office, Monday, March 3.

Nurma explained that this decision was taken by the investigators because the case file for this case had not yet been completed.

"Yes, everything from the files must be completed, of course, starting from the evidence then the witnesses. Now that is complete," continued Nurma.

"Therefore, the investigators completed it, it took a while, of course and everything must have been estimated," he said.

Previously, content creator Vadel Badjideh was finally named a suspect in the alleged harassment and abortion case against Nikita Mirzani's daughter, Laura Meizani.

"From various statements including Loly, NM, from witnesses, the case was carried out and the title of the case named Vadel Alfajar Badjideh as a suspect," said Razman Arif, Vadel Badjideh's attorney at the South Jakarta Police, Thursday, February 13.

After being named a suspect, Vadel is required to be detained based on the applicable regulations for the next 20 days.

"And because of one thing and another according to the Criminal Procedure Code, it is stipulated that investigators can make detentions if, one, the suspect repeats his actions of eliminating evidence, or running away," he continued.
