Wamenaker Calls BYD To Huawei Will Open 58,000 Job Vacancies In The Near Future
JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Manpower, Immanuel Ebenezer revealed that there will be 58,000 new job vacancies that will be opened in the near future.
"Today I am revitalizing the PT Ultimate Noble Indonesia factory, which will accommodate 10,000 job vacancies. Immediately following another 48,000 vacancies in the two companies," said Immanuel in a statement to the media quoted on Tuesday, March 4.
The Deputy Minister revealed that a car factory from China, Build Your Dreams (BYD) is building a factory in Subang, which will accommodate 18,000 workers. Then Huawei Technologies will build a factory that accommodates 30,000 people.
"So in the near future there will be vacancies for our 58,000 workers. This is a good development in the midst of the current uncertain world situation," continued Noel.
Wamenaker also expressed joy at the good development of PT Sritex Tbk, where employees who have been subject to termination of employment (PHK) at the end of February 2025 will be re-signed.
In his remarks on the inauguration of PT Noble Indonesia, Wamenaker ordered management, in recruiting workers, to prioritize former employees of PT Danbi International (Garut), which last month officially went bankrupt.

"The important thing is that they are considered competent. Please don't limit their age. I hope that PT Nobel Indonesia can help former PT Danbi friends," said Wamenaker.
He then invited all parties to remain optimistic, because Indonesia's condition is believed to be getting better.
"Believe me, Indonesia remains bright and will get brighter," he said.
Noble Indonesia, which is currently in Garut, has employed 1,100 employees and will increase to 4,000 workers in the near future.
"If conditions are favorable, then there will be 10,000 employees," he said.
