Hundreds Of Alcohol Various Merks Confiscated By The Kaltara Police, Kayan's Pekat Operation Results

ANJUNG SELOR - Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditkrimum) of the North Kalimantan Police (Kaltara) released the results of the operation of Pekat Kayan 2025 which was held from February 10 to March 1 before entering the month of Ramadan.

Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) Polda Kaltara Kombes Yudhistira Midyahwan revealed, from the operation his party confiscated hundreds of liquor (Miras) of various brands and groups.

"A total of 907 bottles and 51 cans of alcoholic beverages were confiscated, in addition to controlling illegal alcohol, there were also legal actions given to perpetrators of illegal alcohol sales, carried out by someone with the initials (S) in Tanjung Selor, which had been processed in Tipiring," said Kombes Yudhistira accompanied by the Head of Public Relations of the Kaltara Police, Kombes Budi Rahmat, Monday, March 3.

"We hold this joint operation with the ranks of the Resort Police and Polresta by targeting hotels, inns, prostitution places and Night Entertainment Places (THM) spread across several locations," he continued.

This operation is to create a safe and conducive Kamtibmas situation, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

His party also asked for the active participation of the community to report if they were aware of any activities that interfered with security.

"Synergy between the Police and the local community is an important factor in this effort. This operation is a form of our seriousness in creating a safe and comfortable environment for the community," said Dirreskrimum.

The police also raided several hotels and massage parlors. As a result, it was found that a number of non-husband and wife couples provided sexual services.

Yudis said that there were three police reports (LP) resulting from Operation Pekat Kayan in 2025 of the emergency law and minor crimes.
