Amira Karin Gives Leaks For The Upcoming EP

JAKARTA - Amira Karin is preparing for a new release. After several singles and albums Things she wanted to say, but (2023), the 25-year-old singer-songwriter will launch an extended play (EP) or mini album.

"God willing, this year we will also release a song, the plan is to release an EP," Karin said while visiting the VOI office in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta recently.

Karin said that she was undergoing a workshop process to strengthen material in the upcoming EP. Although he could not talk much about the material, he said there was a bright spot for the selected concept.

Actually, I can't talk much, because it's still in the workshop process. It's just that conceptually, I think we've found a little bright spot, it seems like where we're going," said Karin.

"The music, of course, is still really on the side of Amira Karin's core yesterday. I will never leave it," he continued.

As for the difference between EP this time, Karin will completely take over the position of the songwriter completely.

"Maybe the new one is, here I am 100 percent writing my own songs. Yesterday, because you also just entered the label and tried to guess the industry, so there were indeed many who were co-writing, writing songs together," he said.

In her latest work later, Karin will bring the story of her life and how she will advance forward.

"I think that's the concept, with everything behind me and constantly surrounding me ... So, there will be a lot about it, how about me to the people around me, how do I grow, how do I keep going forward," said Karin.

"And the pleasure in this process, actually it's not limited as a songwriter, but it's more like I'm surprised by myself, it turns out that we can," he concluded.
