Again! Police Raid Brawl In Gambir, Five Teenagers With Sajam Arrested
JAKARTA The brawl broke out again in the Gang Kingkit area, Gambir, Central Jakarta. This time, five heavily armed teenagers were arrested by the Central Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team on Monday, March 3, 2025, early in the morning.
The five perpetrators with the initials MA (21), MZ (21), MM (21), MR (22), and MR (22) were immediately taken to the police station after being caught carrying sharp weapons. The police also confiscated three sickles, one cell phone, and four wallets from the hands of the perpetrators.
"We will not tolerate brawls that are troubling the community. These five teenagers have been secured and will be processed according to applicable law," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro.

This brawl allegedly occurred as a result of mutual challenges through social media. The perpetrators had planned clashes at the location before being raided by the police.
In order to prevent similar incidents, the police will continue to increase patrols at points prone to brawls. The police chief also appealed to parents to pay more attention to their children's association.
"Don't let them be dragged into criminal acts that could damage their own future," he concluded.
Currently, the five perpetrators have been taken to the Gambir Metro Police for further investigation. They were charged with Article 2 paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law no. 12 of 1951 with a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
