Government Prepares IDR 50 Trillion For THR ASN In 2025
JAKARTA - The government will prepare a budget of IDR 50 trillion for the disbursement of ASN holiday allowances (THR) in 2025 or an increase when compared to the THR ASN allocation in 2024 which amounted to IDR 48.7 trillion.
The THR disbursement for ASN will be disbursed on time, provided that the disbursement for ASN is 3 weeks before Eid.
Spokesperson for the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Haryo Limanseto said that the acceleration of THR disbursement aims to significantly increase people's purchasing power, strengthen domestic consumption, and encourage economic turnover in various sectors, especially trade and services.
"This policy is expected to have a positive impact on macroeconomic stability and support the achievement of economic growth targets in the first quarter of 2025," he said in his statement, Monday, March 3.
Previously, President Prabowo Subianto ensured that holiday allowances (THR) for the state civil apparatus (ASN) would be disbursed in March 2025.
This decision was announced after a limited meeting (ratas) with ministers at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.
"The THR disbursement for ASN and private workers will be carried out in March 2025," Prabowo said in a press statement, Monday, February 17.
