Apple Establishes 4th Application Developer Academy In Indonesia

JAKARTA Apple announced that it has opened its fourth Apple Developer Academy program in Indonesia. This education program is opened in Tuban, Bali and will welcome hundreds of students.

This first class in Bali will teach hundreds of participants from various circles and age ranges, ranging from the age of 18 to 56 years. Participants who received not only came from Tuban, but also from 32 cities in Indonesia.

During this program, Apple will help hundreds of participants consisting of developers, students, and entrepreneurs. The company will help improve participant skills so that they can start a career in the iOS application industry.

This program will run for nine months. All participants will be taught the basics of encoding, design, skills, marketing, and insight into developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.

Apple will teach how to overcome challenges in developing applications. Apple Developer Academy in Bali will be the first Apple academy in Indonesia to support international student exchange programs from 11 countries.

"The development community in Indonesia has created so many extraordinary applications," said Apple's Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations, Susan Myr. "Apple Developer Academy will help more people in Indonesia come up with their ideas."

Apple Developer Academy has been launched in Indonesia since 2018. The first Academy was in Jakarta, then followed other academies in Surabaya and Batam. These three academies managed to teach 2,500 participants who were not interested in developing the application.

The impact of this program is quite good according to Apple. Of the thousands of participants who have been registered, 90 percent of them have successfully graduated and received jobs in various sectors, ranging from education, e-commerce, transportation, and many more.
