Jambi SAR Team Finds 1 Of 3 Crew Members Of Ship Collision Victims In Tanjabtim Waters
JAMBI - The Jambi SAR team found one of three victims missing due to a fishing boat collision with the Trans 58 Trans Route Pekanbaru-Jambi ship which occurred in the waters of Tanjungjabung Timur Regency (Tanjabtim), Jambi, last Sunday afternoon.
"This morning there was one victim who was found dead at the location of 17 NM from the scene and currently the joint SAR team is on their way to evacuate," said Head of the Jambi SAR Office Adah Sudarsa in an official statement in Jambi, Antara, Monday, March 3.
With the discovery of one of the three crew members (ABK) who were victims of the collision, it means that only two others are still in the search process.
"However, Basarnas has not been able to confirm the names of the victims who were found this morning, because they are still in the evacuation stage in the field," said Adah.
Basarnas Jambi received reports of an incident that a fishing boat collided with a barge in the waters of Tanjabtim Sea Village, where two fishermen were rescued, while three others were reported missing.
Communications between the Jambi SAR office received information from Polairud Kampung Laut that there had been a collision of a fishing boat with a Trans 58 barge in the waters of Kampung Laut on Sunday (2/3) at 11.30 WIB.
Adah Sudarsa said the chronology obtained was that the fishing boat, which was trawling a net with five workers, suddenly collided with the ship TB Trans 58 Pekanbaru - Jambi route in the waters of Kampung Laut.
Untuk korban yang selamat dua orang atas nama Jaka (24) alamat di Rengat dan Riski (20) Address di Tungkal, lalu tiga orang dinyatakan hilang dalam kecelakaan laut itu yakni korban Juprianto (36) alamat Rengat, Rinal (23) alamat Rengat, Lukman (22) alamat Tungkal, Kabupaten Tanjabbar.
