ASN And BUMN Employees Will WFA D-7 Lebaran, Government Urges Private Participation
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto will implement a flexible work arrangement (FWA) policy starting from anywhere (WFA) starting from D-7 Lebaran or from 24 March 2025.
Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi said that WFA ahead of the Eid al-Fitr holiday will be carried out by all state civil servants (ASN) ministries, institutions, to local governments, as well as BUMN employees.
"Maybe in the near future a special letter will be made. Then the Ministry of SOEs will also implement the same thing. Indeed, the number that contributes to many travelers is ASN and also BUMN," said Dudy at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, March 3.
In order to make the mobility arrangements for people who go home for Eid al-Fitr more conducive, Dudy appealed to private companies to follow this policy and apply it to their employees.
"For the private sector, this is our appeal to private companies through the Ministry of Manpower," said Dudy.
"The hope is that if WFA is implemented, then the distribution of the distribution of the travelers will be more, so that the arrangements will be better," he added.
Continuing, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung admitted that he would also participate in implementing the WFA policy for ASN within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. So, Jakarta residents who will go home for Eid will have quite a lot of time options.
"I will follow up on the central government has decided that on the 24th of the start of work from anywhere, the Jakarta government will also definitely coordinate with the private sector to implement the same thing," said Pramono.
