10 Youths Who Want To War In Sarong Transported By The Sukabumi City Police Tiger Team
SUKABUMI - The Bintana Tiger Team of the Sukabumi City Police twice thwarted a sarong war between rejuvenations in two different locations in Sukabumi City, West Java. A number of teenagers were also arrested by the police.
"There are 10 teenagers who are indicated to be carrying out a sarong war. They were immediately taken to the Sukabumi City Police Headquarters for data collection, questioning and guidance," said Head of Subsidy for Documentation and Multimedia Information Management (PIDM) of the Sukabumi City Police, Ipda Ade Ruli Bahtiarudin in Sukabumi, Antara, Sunday, March 2.
According to Ade, the teenagers were secured in two different locations, namely Jalan Pemuda, Tipar Village, Citamiang District and Nyomplong Street, Pajagalan Village, Nyomplong Village, Warudoyong District, Sukabumi City.
According to information gathered from the police, the Sukabumi City Police Bintana Tiger Team together with Babinsa Kodim 0607 personnel from Sukabumi City who were conducting patrols received information that there was a group of teenagers on Jalan Pemuda who were suspected of wanting to carry out a sarong war.
Joint personnel who received the information quickly headed to the location and saw that several teenagers were gathering. When he was about to be approached, this group of teenagers immediately tried to escape, but with the alertness of officers, several teenagers were arrested.
Just a few minutes after securing a teenager who was about to carry out a sarong war, joint patrol officers from the Bintana Tiger Team and Babinsa again received information that there were a number of teenagers on Nyomplong Street who indicated a sarong war.
The team immediately moved to the location and again thwarted the sarong war and secured a number of teenagers, the majority of whom were only a dozen years old.
"In this incident, no teenager was either injured, let alone fell victim to death, because thanks to the speed of the patrol team, the sarong war was thwarted," he added.
Ade appealed to the entire community, especially parents, to increase supervision of their children's activities outside the home, especially at night to anticipate that they are involved in negative activities such as sarong wars.
