InJourney Supports The Policy Of Lowering Airline Ticket Prices During Ramadan And Eid Al-Fitr 2025
JAKARTA - Holding BUMN Aviasi and Tourism, PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney through its subsidiary PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia or InJourney Airports supports the government's policy to reduce aircraft ticket prices during Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr 1446 H. This is InJourney's great effort to have a direct impact on the community in order to stimulate domestic flights and have a positive impact on the economy and Indonesian tourism.
The support provided by InJourney Airports is in the form of a reduction in airport service rates, which applies to airplane passengers and airlines decreasing. The reduction in fares for airplane passengers is in the form of a 50 percent discount on Aircraft Passenger Services (PJP2U) or called Passenger Service Charge (PSC) and Landing, Placement, and Aircraft Storage Services (PJP4U). This decrease in airport service rates has a direct impact on decreasing aircraft ticket prices.
"InJourney is ready to support the policy of reducing plane ticket prices for people who want to travel during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1446H. InJourney hopes to make this policy a success by providing a reduction in airport service rates. InJourney Airports provides a reduction in fares for airplane passengers in the form of a 50 percent discount on PJP2U and a landing fee and plane placement (parking fee) or PJP4U for domestic routes.
"We hope that this reduction in tariffs will encourage the reduction in plane ticket prices, which in the end can help people who want to use air transportation services. In addition, the increase in users of air transportation services will help encourage the aviation industry, as well as the Indonesian economy," said InJourney Airports President Director, Faik Fahmi.
Previously, on Friday, February 28, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto had instructed the reduction in aircraft ticket prices to facilitate community mobility during Ramadan and Eid this year. The President said the decline in aircraft ticket prices would be in effect over the next two weeks.
This was also confirmed by the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (Menko AHY) during his visit to Terminal 2F of Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Saturday, March 1. Coordinating Minister AHY said that the government and aviation industry stakeholders had coordinated to make various efforts so that there was a decrease in aircraft ticket prices.
Starting from the reduction in airport costs, reducing avtur prices at 37 airports, decreasing fuel surcharge, to partially VAT borne by the government. He explained that these efforts in aggregatedly could lower ticket prices for economic aircraft for domestic purposes as a whole by 13 to 14 percent
Meanwhile, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati explained that she had issued Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 18 of 2025 concerning Value Added Tax (VAT) borne by the government in part for domestic economy class tickets, which for the purchase of aircraft ticket prices would be reduced by 6 percent so that people only paid 5 percent. This PMK applies to ticket purchases from March 1 to April 7, 2025, for travel tickets between March 24 to April 7, 2025.
A number of ministers reviewed the readiness of Terminal 2F of Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten on Saturday (01/03).
