Russia Develops AI-Based Titan Drone Hacker System
JAKARTA - Russia is developing a system of the first drone such as Titan, based on artificial intelligence (AI) and undergoing trials starting at the end of February.
The system is equipped with a laser module with a operational range of 3 km, the United Russia Party press office said on Friday.
"The Head of the Central Executive Committee of the United Russia Party, Alexander Sidyakin, presented Russia's first drone dumpling system, Titan, based on artificial intelligence (AI) to the Chairman of the United Russia Party, Dmitry Medvedev," the press office said in a statement, quoted from TASS March 1.
"Currently, this system has been upgraded not only by physical impact complexes but also by laser modules with an operational range of 3 km. This is one of the innovations patented by the Center for Non-Vaccine Systems and Technology," he continued.
"Trials will be carried out in late February, and after that the Russian army will use this system in a special military operation area," he added.
The idea of this drone deterrent system stems from discussions about issues of civil infrastructure protection from terrorist attacks, Sidyakin added.
The tip is equipped with a 24-barreled 12-calibre caliber grurret with optical control and automatic recharging, radio-electronic and optical surveillance systems, as well as radio-electronic suppression capabilities, the press office explained.

"Therefore, operators can immediately find unmanned aircraft and take action for radio-electronic suppression. If the drone continues its flight, then the drone will be physically eliminated," he continued.
"This system is equipped with automatic target acquisitions based on neural networks. Titan has been trained to identify drones flying based on 120 million files," he concluded.
