Coordinating Minister AHY: The Official Lowering Of Ticket Prices For Eid Homecoming Airplanes Is Implemented

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Development of the Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) Region revealed that the policy of reducing ticket prices for domestic economic aircraft was officially enforced for Eid homecoming.

"We also want to ensure that there is an incentive to reduce ticket prices. This time we want to convey to the public that with various efforts made by the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of SOEs, especially including all parties involved or as stakeholders in the aviation industry. We have succeeded in generally reducing airport costs or costs," said AHY at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, Saturday, March 1.

This is what in the end is aggregated, hopefully, the government can reduce the ticket price for domestic economic aircraft as a whole for approximately 2 weeks. That's at 13 to 14 percent the ticket reduction price," said AHY.

He hopes that the reduction in the price of airplane tickets which is officially applied to this year's Eid homecoming can help the community in preparing to return to their hometowns, and celebrate Eid al-Fitr in their respective hometowns.

"Hopefully this will also help people who have prepared themselves to return to their hometowns, meet their families, celebrate Eid al-Fitr in their respective hometowns," he said.

President Prabowo Subianto has instructed to reduce toll rates and toll ticket prices to facilitate community mobility during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri/2025 AD.

This policy was taken as part of the government's efforts to support the smooth flow of homecoming and ensure the comfort of the community in fasting and celebrating holidays.

Presiden Prabowo menyampaikan bahwa penurunan harga tiket pesawat akan diberlakukan selama dua pekan mendatang. Selain itu, tariff toll di beberapa ruas jalan utama juga akan diturunkan saat liburan Idul Fitri dan Hari Raya Nyepi, yang pada tahun ini jatuh dekat.
