Radhar Panca Dahana Dies, Poetry Returns To Viral

JAKARTA - Radhar Panca Dahana died Thursday, April 22. Radhar Panca Dahana is a writer and humanist known for his works in the form of literary essays, short stories and poetry published in a number of Indonesian newspapers.

Radhar Panca Dahana who is also the president of the Indonesian Theater Federation, completed the undergraduate program of the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia and Sociology at the École des Hautes Études en Science Sociale.

A number of his works are Becoming a Human (humanities essay), Lalu Aku (a collection of poems), Traces of Postmodernism, Stories from the Land of Smoke (a collection of short stories) including Inikah Kita: Indonesian Human Mozaik.

Radhar's friends and fans expressed their condolences by uploading the poem on social media. The poetry of returning home is one of Radhar Panca Dahana's works written in 1987.The following is the poem Pulang by Radhar Panca Dahana:

the rain had not stopped

why do pigeons fly alone

soaking wet it doesn't matter

how early is it,
