Polda Metro Sidak Food Task Force Stocks And Rice Prices In The Main Market
The Polda Metro Jaya Food Task Force (Satgas) conducted an inspection of rice stocks and prices at the Cipinang Rice Main Market (PIBC) in East Jakarta to be safe and under control during Ramadan 1446 Hijri.
"We don't want speculators selling prices to soar," said Head of the Sub-Directorate of Industry and Trade (Kasub-Directorate of Indag) of the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Anggi Saputra Ibrahim as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, March 1.
Anggi at the Cipinang Rice Main Market (PIBC) in East Jakarta, asked every business actor to comply with the price that has been given by the government, which is IDR 12,500 per kilogram (kg).
"We ensure that the stock for the community is safe," he said.
The Task Force promises that every day it will go down to traditional markets until Lebaran to ensure prices are controlled to the chain to the lowest retailers.
The Task Force also asked the public to report if they found a seller selling rice at high prices so that an investigation could be carried out.
"Where there are people who intend to make a lot of profit or make more profit, we will take action," he said.
The sudden inspection (sidak) and inspection and monitoring of the Regional Food Task Force Polda Metro Jaya team were carried out in 10 markets in North Jakarta and two markets in South Jakarta.
In addition, there are four markets in West Jakarta, four in Central Jakarta and one market in the Thousand Islands.
