US Vice President JD Vance Implemented Trump-President Ukrainian Debate Zelenskyyy To Being 'expelled' From The White House

JAKARTA - A hot debate was watched in front of the world between US President Donald Trump, US Vice President JD Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Ukraine returned without a new 'support' amid peaceful US initiative negotiations with Russia.

Tensions in the Oval room of the White House on Friday, February 28 local time exploded when Vance stressed the need for diplomacy to resolve Europe's biggest conflict since the Second World War.

Zelenskyy, folding his hands, replied by saying Vladimir Putin could not be trusted and noting Vance had never visited Ukraine.

What kind of diplomacy are you talking about, JD? Zelenskyy asked after telling about the diplomatic attempt that failed with Russia.

"I'm talking about the type of diplomacy that will end the destruction of your country," Vance replied.

Zelenskyy publicly challenged Trump for his gentler approach to Putin, and urged him not to compromise with a murderer."

"You're going to make a deal, or we're going out, and if we get out, you're going to fight. I don't think it's going to go well," Trump told Zelenskiy.

"After we sign the deal, you are in a much better position. But you don't show any gratitude at all, and that's not a good thing. Honestly. That's not a good thing," Trump said.

Trump stressed Putin wanted to make a deal.

Vance also interrupted Zelenskyy coming into the Oval room to file a lawsuit over his position was an disrespectful act, and this was approved by Trump.

"You don't say thank you," Vance said.

Zelenskyy, while raising her voice, replied: "I thank the American people many times."

Zelenskyy, who earned billions of dollars in weapons and US moral support from the Joe Biden administration, faced a very different attitude from Trump.

Trump wants to immediately end the three-year war, improve relations with Russia, and get back the money spent in support of Ukraine.

"I hope I will be remembered as the bearer of peace," Trump said.

After the talks, Trump directed his two aides to inform Zelenskyy it was time to leave, even as the waiters were preparing to serve lunch to the delegates, according to a White House official.

Ukraine was instructed to leave the White House even though they wanted to continue negotiations, the official added.

The collapse of this relationship means Ukraine and the United States fail to sign a highly proud mineral agreement, which Kyiv hopes will encourage Trump to support Ukraine's war efforts and potentially gain Republican support in Congress for a new round of aid.

Trump is not interested in reviewing the current mineral deal, a senior White House official told Reuters on Friday evening.

The heated debate also undermined the efforts of European leaders to convince Trump to provide security guarantees for Ukraine even though he refused to deploy US troops on Ukrainian territory to maintain peace.

The guarantee is seen as important to prevent Russia from carrying out future aggression.

Trump instead threatened to withdraw US support for Ukraine.

Trump has been involved in a dispute with Zelenskiy in recent weeks, criticizing the way he handled the war, calling it a "dictator" and urging him to agree to a mineral deal. He then distanced himself from the "dictator" statement.
