All Indonesian Navy Soldiers Pray For KRI Nanggala-402
JAKARTA - All Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) soldiers carry out a joint prayer for the safety of the KRI Nanggala-402 submarine simultaneously.
On this occasion Deputy Chief of Staff of the Navy (Wakasal) Vice Admiral TNI Ahmadi Heri Purwono, SE, MM, carried out a joint prayer accompanied by Assistant for Development of Maritime Potential (Aspotmar) Kasal Major General TNI (Mar) Widodo Dwi Purwanto and other Headquarters officials, at the mosque. Al-Arif Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Thursday, April 22.
The joint prayer activity led by the Head of the Navy Mental Development Agency (Kadisbintalal) Laksma TNI Drs. Ian Heriyawan begins with praying, reading the Yasin letter, istigozah and prayer of safety so that the KRI Nanggala-402 will be found immediately and all personnel on board the submarine are in a safe and healthy condition and can immediately be evacuated at the location of the incident, namely Northern Waters. The island of Bali, at that time, was carrying out a torpedo firing exercise, on Wednesday, April 21.
In addition, in this activity, the Khataman of the Koran was also carried out after the Dzuhur prayer and continued with prayer together. At the same time Headquarters personnel also carried out joint prayers according to their religion, namely Christianity at the Bukit Kasih Church and Hinduism at Ade Saka Temple.
This joint prayer activity is in line with the instructions of the Chief of Naval Staff (Kasal) Admiral TNI Yudo Margono, SE, MM, that in current conditions, Indonesian Navy soldiers are required to assist both in carrying out rapid response actions for submarine evacuation and carrying out joint prayers for the safety of KRI Nanggala. -402 and the personnel therein.
