Welcoming Ramadan Mobility 2025, Prabowo Orders To Lower Toll Tariffs And Airplane Tickets

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto has instructed to reduce toll rates and toll ticket prices to facilitate community mobility during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri/2025 AD.

The statement was made by President Prabowo after returning from the retret agenda in Magelang, Central Java.

"All relevant ministers will also continuously monitor and ensure that all transportation and public service facilities can run smoothly safely and facilitate the flow of public homecoming," he said at a press conference in the Pandawa Room, Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, Friday, February 28, which was confiscated by Antara.

This policy was taken as part of the government's efforts to support the smooth flow of homecoming and ensure the comfort of the community in fasting and celebrating holidays.

Presiden Prabowo menyampaikan bahwa penurunan harga tiket pesawat akan diberlakukan selama dua pekan mendatang. Selain itu, tariff toll di beberapa ruas jalan utama juga akan diturunkan saat liburan Idul Fitri dan Hari Raya Nyepi, yang pada tahun ini jatuh dekat.

"We are also preparing to reduce the price of airplane tickets for the next two weeks and also reduce toll road rates on several main roads during the Eid al-Fitr and Nyepi holidays, which are very close this time," he said.

The President also asked the Minister of Transportation, Minister of SOEs, Minister of Public Works, and all relevant ministers to continue to monitor and ensure the smooth running of transportation facilities and public services during the homecoming period.
