3 Mosques In Jayawijaya Hold Tarawih Perdana Tonight, 100 Police Personnel Alerted
JAKARTA - As many as 100 personnel from the Jayawijaya Resort Police (Polres), Papua Mountains, were alerted to secure the implementation of the inaugural Tarawih Prayer in the Holy Month of Ramadan 1446 Hijri/2025 AD.
Head of Ops AKP Soeparmanto said his party would concentrate on securing the three mosques in this area in the inaugural Tarawih Prayer on Friday, February 28 evening.
"For the security of the Jayawijaya Police, it continues to carry out in several mosques, namely the Baiturahman Mosque, Al Ihsan Mosque and Al Hidayah Mosque," he said in Wamena, Friday, February 28, which was confiscated by Antara.
According to him, of the three mosques, 100 personnel were prepared to be divided into each mosque, each with 30 to 40 personnel.
"We hope that with security support, the implementation of Tarawih Prayers on the first day will take place safely and under control," he said.

He explained that the situation in the Wamena City area is currently safe and conducive. "This condition can occur because there is community support so that the Wamena City security situation is under control," he said.
He hopes that this kind of conducive security condition can last for the next 30 days or during the Tarawih Prayer in the Holy Month of Ramadan 1446 Hijri/2025.
