Check Hasto, KPK Explores The Role Of Other Parties In The PAW Bribery Case, Members Of The DPR
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the role of other parties regarding the bribery case for the interim replacement process (PAW) for members of the Indonesian House of Representatives involving former PDI-P candidate Harun Masiku.
This investigation was carried out by examining the Secretary General of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto as a witness on Wednesday, February 26. Investigators worked on it at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.
"The investigation is related to the roles of the parties in the construction of the case being investigated," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika in a written statement, Friday, February 28.
The parties referred to in this case include Harun Masiku and PDIP lawyer Donny Tri Istiqomah who were also dragged along with Hasto.
Meanwhile, Hasto said investigators were being questioned as witnesses to complete Donny Tri Istiqomah's file which was also a suspect in the bribery case for the management of interim replacement (PAW) members of the DPR RI. He underwent an examination for 1.5 hours.
"So today for approximately 1.5 hours effective, I was asked for information as a witness against Donny Tri Istiqomah's brother. There were about 52 questions," Hasto told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, February 26.
Hasto said there were 52 questions given by investigators during the examination. However, not much information is provided because the material is the same.
"So it remains to be printed, and then corrected again, whether there is the same information or not ... and from this the meaning that the entire process related to the case that has been signed seems to be repeated," he said.
Even so, Hasto ensured that he had given the real information before investigators. "As a law-abiding citizen, because I am a legitimate citizen even though it is repeated, yes, I follow everything well, with full discipline," said the politician.

Two people were named as suspects, namely PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto and Donny Tri Istiqomah who are PDIP cadres as well as lawyers.
It didn't stop there, Hasto was also a suspect in the obstruction of the investigation. He is suspected of trying to obstruct the legal process, one of which is by asking Harun to damage his cellphone and run away after the OTT was carried out.
Hasto was detained on Thursday, February 20. He occupied the KPK Detention Center for the first 20 days and could be extended according to the needs of investigators.
Meanwhile, Donny has not been detained because investigators are still confirming the evidence he has. He did not file a pretrial lawsuit at the South Jakarta District Court (PN) such as Hasto.
