JAKARTA - The West Java Regional Police (Polda) named a new suspect named Abi Aulia for the murder of a premeditated mother and child, namely Tuti Suhartini (55) and Amalia Mustika Ratu (23) in Subang, West Java.

Director of the Directorate of General Crimes (Dirkrimum) of the West Java Police, Kombes Pol. Surawan, said that Abi's case file had been declared complete or P21 and would be prosecuted.

"The case has been declared P21, so we arrested and detained the person concerned," said Surawan in Bandung, West Java, Friday, February 28, which was confiscated by Antara.

It is known that Abi Aulia is the stepdaughter of the main suspect, Yosep Hidayah, who was the mastermind behind the murder of the child and mother.

Surawan said that the two other people who have been named as suspects, namely Mimin Mintarsih (Yosep's young wife) and Arighi Reksa Pratama (Yosep's first child), are still in the process of being investigated.

"(They) are still in process," he said.

Previously, the West Java Regional Police also named a police officer with the initials T as a suspect because he was proven to have obstruction of justice or obstruction of investigation in the murder case that occurred in 2021.

Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Pol. Jules Abraham Abast explained that suspect T was caught destroying the crime scene (TKP) on Jalan Ciseuti RT 18 RW 003 Jalancagak Village, Jalancagak District, Subang Regency.

"The perpetrator with the initials T carried out an obstruction of justice while conducting a crime scene investigation on Tuesday, August 19, 2021," Jules said.
