Donny Tri Istiqomah's Detention In Hasto Case Is Just A Matter Of Time

"Investigators are still examining witnesses and collecting evidence," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters quoted on Friday, February 28.

Tessa said this request for information and evidence would definitely take time. "It becomes the investigator's authority and we'll just have to wait for the time," he said.

Donny has actually been worked on by investigators at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta on Monday, February 3. At that time, he admitted that he had submitted a statement to investigators.

"Today I fulfill my obligations as a good citizen. I was summoned as a suspect for questioning regarding the case that was suspected to me," Donny told reporters at the location.

Berbeda dengan Hasto, pengacara ini tidak mengajukan gugatan praperadilan ke Pengadilan Negeri (PN) Jakarta Selatan. Ia lebih fokus membuktikan dirinya tak bersalah dalam kasus suap yang menjeratnya.

Diberitakan sebelumnya, KPK mengembangkan kasus suap pengurusan pergantian antarwaktu (PAW) anggota DPR RI yang menjerat eks caleg PDIP Harun Masiku. Dua orang ditetapkan sebagai tersangka, yakni Sekjen PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto dan Donny Tri Istiqomah yang merupakan kader PDIP sekaligus pengacara.

It didn't stop there, Hasto was also a suspect in the obstruction of the investigation. He is suspected of trying to obstruct the legal process, one of which is by asking Harun to damage his cellphone and run away after the OTT was carried out.

Hasto was detained on Thursday, February 20. He occupied the KPK Detention Center for the first 20 days and could be extended according to the needs of investigators.
