Cak Imin: National Socio-Economic Single Data Ensures Social Assistance Is Right On Target
Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment (Menko PM) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin emphasized that the National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN) is currently entering the refinement stage.
This step aims to ensure the validity and accuracy of the data, so as to support the effectiveness of various social assistance and poverty alleviation programs.
"The target is extreme poverty to zero percent, and the accuracy of DTSEN is one of the key factors so that it can be realized," said Cak Imin.
"The involvement of regional heads in examining public data actively and validly is a concrete step to ensure DTSEN is accurate," he added.
Muhaimin also emphasized that the National Socio-Economic Single Data will revolutionize the national social and economic data system. Thus, the entire process must be carried out carefully so that the benefits are truly felt by the community.
"According to President Prabowo's directives through the Presidential Instruction, DTSEN will become the sole database in the distribution of various socio-economic assistance. Thus, assistance can be right on target and effective for poverty alleviation," he said.
Muhaimin stated that DTSEN will help various levels of society, including non-ASN educators.
"The government will ensure that DTSEN contributes significantly to all forms of social assistance, including assistance for non-ASN teachers," he said.
In addition, DTSEN will also be an important means for various community groups in distributing aid more effectively.
"This system will facilitate the involvement of philanthropy, religious-based social institutions, as well as zakat, infaq and alms groups, so that aid is more targeted," added Muhaimin.
Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 4 of 2025 concerning DTSEN aims to increase synergy between ministries and institutions in supporting national development programs. Each ministry and institution involved has full responsibility for the success of DTSEN.
"The Minister of Religion (Nasaruddin Umar) is optimistic that if zakat and alms are managed properly, God willing, it can help deal with poverty significantly," said Muhaimin.

The improvement of DTSEN is also considered appropriate because it coincides with the month of Ramadan.
"Moreover, in the holy month of Ramadan, people's social awareness will be very high. With the National Sole Social Economy Data, the distribution of aid does not overlap and has a clear concentration point," concluded Cak Imin.
