Denza Z9GT Gets Positive Animo, BYD Opens Opportunities To Sell It In Indonesia

JAKARTA - In the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 some time ago, PT BYD Motor Indonesia also brought the Denza sub-brand by showing off its first two electric vehicles in the national market.

The two models are D9 which is a luxury large MPV and Z9GT which has a sporty form typical of the station wagon.

Unlike D9 which has been sold for Rp950 million, Denza Z9GT has not been officially sold by manufacturers and only introduced it to a number of other innovative and sophisticated technologies.

Yes, first, we also need to study the type of variant model that is like that. Because in Indonesia it is very rare.

"It's like a brake shooting model. The sedan is more than 5 meters long. We also have to study how it is used in everyday life," said Luther during a media drive with a number of journalists in Bandung, West Java, Wednesday, February 26.

Meskipun demikian, ia tidak menutup kemungkinan bahwa model tersebut akan dijual di pasar nasional. Terlebih lagi, BYD juga sempat menunjukkan D9 pada tahun lalu dan kemudian memasarkannya pada tahun ini.

Luther also claimed Z9GT had positive interest since it was first exhibited at IIMS 2025 because it has various abilities, including 'Compass Turning' which makes it easier to park vehicles in parallel.

"Yes, they are quite Enthusiastic. First they actually really admire the compound turning. Maybe in certain conditions it is very helpful. Especially for parking, to rotate with such a narrow condition," said Luther.

He explained that the public is also very curious about the energy produced by Z9GT, making the attractiveness of this car even greater for the wider community.
