Hasto Again Worked On Investigators, This Time Asked For Information As A Suspect
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) again examined the Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto today, February 27. He was worked on as a suspect in the bribery case of the interim replacement process (PAW) for members of the DPR RI and the obstruction of the investigation.
"So today I was examined based on the same information I received as a suspect. So of course in the principles of pro justicia accompanied by my legal adviser," said Hasto at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, February 27.
Hasto ensured that he would follow this legal process even though the process was related to an inkrah case. He also made sure his condition was healthy after being detained for almost a week.
"To all sympathizers of PDI-P members and cadres, I emphasize that I am in a very healthy, full of enthusiasm condition," he said.
"And I believe that justice will be aimed at because of the whole process that I have undertaken is against a case that has actually been signed," continued the politician.
Previously reported, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto was officially detained in connection with the bribery case for the interim replacement (PAW) of members of the DPR RI and the obstruction of the investigation on Thursday, February 20. He will occupy the State Detention Center Branch of the Class I State Detention Center in East Jakarta for 20 days and can be extended according to the needs of investigators.
Hasto was charged with Article 21 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.

As for the bribery case related to PAW, members of the DPR RI, the process will be carried out simultaneously. This is because the investigation warrant (sprindik) issued on December 23, 2024, focuses more on the application of Article 21.
