TVRI Will Broadcast Educational Programs For Students With Internet Problems
JAKARTA - The Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 will broadcast educational programs on television. Because, currently the school implements learning activities at home for its students.
This program to reduce the spread of COVID-19 is broadcast by the public broadcaster TVRI and will be broadcast starting Monday, April 13.
Acting Task (plt) Main Director of TVRI, Supriyono explained that the program would broadcast a lot of special learning material for elementary, junior high, high school students, general learning and parenting.
"With learning material programs for elementary, junior high school, general learning, and parenting," said Supriyono, in his official statement received by VOI, Friday, April 10.
The broadcast of the learning from home program is a collaboration between TVRI and the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) which will be held for the next three months.
Meanwhile, Acting Director of Programs and News TVRI Usrin Usman, stated that the program is a solution for people who have limited internet access, both economic problems and geographic location that are difficult to reach an internet connection.
"The learning content presented will focus on improving literacy, numeracy, character building, and life skills of students which is delivered lightly and entertaining," said Usrin.
"There are also evening activities in the form of films for children and Indonesian films," he added.
Furthermore, educational programs for learning from home will be conducted on Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. WIB.

08.00-08.30 PAUD material
08.30-09.00 elementary school materials for grades 1 to 3
10.00-10.30 elementary school materials for grades 4 to 6
10.30-11.00 Junior High School material
14.00-14.30 high school material
14.30-15.00 material on child care and education for parents and teachers
