JAKARTA - The murder carried out by suspect ZA (35), a construction worker against his employer with the initials JS (69) took place in a sadistic manner.

The body of the victim JS was deliberately dumped by suspect ZA in the water channel behind the renovation building project located on Jalan Pemuda, Rawamangun, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta.

"(The victim was found) In the waterway behind this project, it is at the back of this building," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to VOI at the scene, Wednesday, February 26, evening.

After confirming that the victim JS was killed, the perpetrator then waited for the next two days. After the victim's body was surrounded by flies, then the perpetrator ZA dumped the victim's body into a sewer.

"He (suspect ZA) covered the victim with cement, with bricks," he said.

For this reason, East Jakarta Metro Police investigators then coordinated with the Fire Unit to dismantle the cement that wrapped the victim's body.

"We together with the fire department will dismantle the cement. Then we will carry out an autopsy on the victim's body," he said.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Rescue Team Control, Afif, said that the process of evacuating the bodies of JS victims was not difficult.

"Thank God everything went smoothly. It's just possible that the problem is in the aroma, a bad smell appears," Afif told VOI at the location.

In addition, in the process of evacuating the victims, 20 rescue personnel were also carried out from the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept.

"(evacuation) We use manual tools, there are Godam and Jack Hammer who use electric power. A total of 20 personnel including picket officers and task forces," he concluded.
