Neighbors And Kasal's Wife Give Support To The Family Of Marine Colonel Hery Setyawan, Dansatsel Who Joined KRI Nanggala

JAKARTA - The wife of Chief of Naval Staff (Kasal) Veronica Yudo Margono visited the family of Marine Colonel Hery Setyawan.

Hery Setyawan is the Commander of the Submarine Unit (Dansatsel) Fleet Command (Koarmada) II who participated in activities at KRI Nanggala-402.

During a meeting at the TNI AL's official residence in the Tebel area, Sidoarjo, East Java, several members of the Indonesian Navy were seen standing guard outside the house. Rows of red plastic chairs are also arranged on the terrace of the house to welcome guests.

Kasal's wife came along with a group of several official vehicles belonging to the Indonesian Navy which were parked in a row at the official residence. Not only Kasal's wife, several neighbors also came to support Colonel Hary's wife.

In fact, occasionally among neighbors, hugging to provide moral support to the family. However, no flower wreath or binoculars were seen on the front yard of the middle ranking TNI officer.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo ordered the search for the KRI Nanggala-402 submarine, which has lost contact since April 21, 2021, to be carried out optimally.

"I have also ordered the TNI Commander, Chief of Staff of the Navy (Kasal) and Basarnas together with other relevant agencies to mobilize all the strength and efforts to make optimal search and rescue efforts," said President Jokowi, as conveyed via YouTube to the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta. , Thursday.

The KRI Nanggala submarine carrying 53 crew members lost contact since Wednesday (21/4) in the early hours of the morning in the northern waters of Bali Island while carrying out a torpedo firing exercise.

"Currently the TNI and Kasal commanders are directly leading search efforts in the field. The main priority is the safety of 53 crew members," said the President.
