Eating Free Nutrition For Mothers And Toddlers, Bogor City DPRD Gives Full Support

BOGOR - The Ministry of Population and Family Development (Kemendukbangga) / BKKBN together with the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) signed an MoU and Cooperation Agreement (PKS) related to the start of the Free Nutrition Eating (MBG) program for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and toddlers.

The signing was carried out at the Office of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City. On that occasion, Deputy Chair I of the Bogor City DPRD, M Rusli Prihatvy together with Dandim 0606 Bogor City Lt. Col. (Inf) Dwi Agung Prihanto were also present to accompany the activities of the Minister of Proud Affairs/Head of BKKBN, Wihaji and Head of BGN, Dadan Hindayana.

The signing, explained by the Minister of Education and Culture, is a collaboration between two institutions aimed at providing MBG targeting pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and toddlers.

"We are assisting BGN in the MBG distribution process which is intended for pregnant, lactating, and toddlers. Because we have a team and cadre of family and data so that distribution is right on target," explained Wihaji.

Seeing the enthusiasm of the women in Posyandu Kenari, Kedung Badak Village, Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City, Wihaji said he was happy because the implementation could run smoothly.

However, he stressed that in accordance with the instructions of President Prabowo, this activity must be carried out under a pentahelix scheme, so that cooperation between institutions and local government support as well as the Bogor City DPRD is needed.

"Because we are the President's order not to work alone. The pentahelix must cooperate between relevant stakeholders, including support from the Council, I think it is also important because it is part of the spirit of equality in managing Indonesia better, for the sake of red and white," said Wihaji.

After a visit to the Kenari Posyandu. Wihaji accompanied by Rusli visited the UPT of the Bogor City KKB Training Center to participate in the discussion of the Proud Kencana Program with KB extensions in Bogor City.

On that occasion, Wihaji conveyed to KB extension workers in Bogor City to be able to carry out their duties in accordance with their functions so that the implementation of MBG for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and toddlers can run well in Bogor City.

Wihaji also conveyed that there are five flagship "cold win" programs to be run. Namely foster parent programs to prevent stunting, foster care parks (Tamasha), role model father movements (Gate), AI-based super apps and AI-based digital services.

"It became our quick win, everything departed from the existing problem, we are looking for a way out of the program," said Wihaji.

"And my friends have given me a little explanation. Later, the follow-up will be clarified after the implementation of the PKS later follow-up between our Deputy and the Deputy of BGN. God willing, it will be faster, better," concluded Wihaji.

Deputy Chairperson I of the Bogor City DPRD, M. Rusli Prihatvy, said firmly that the Bogor City DPRD would provide full support for the implementation of the MBG program for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and toddlers initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

"Through the three functions in the DPRD, supervision, budget and legislation, of course we will maximize it so that the MBG program for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and toddlers initiated by Minister Wihaji can run optimally," explained Rusli.

Furthermore, Rusli said, through the MBG program, it is also hoped that it can be one way to reduce the stunting rate in Bogor City.

Rusli also considered this program in line with the Bogor City RPJPD which has a vision of Bogor City becoming a City of Creative, Advanced and Sustainable Science.

"So our spirit is the same, our vision is the same, the DPRD is with the Bogor City government and all elements of Forkopimda will support and succeed this program so that the stunting rate in Bogor City can be suppressed and carry out the RPJPD vision," he concluded.
