Respect For Valentino Rossi, BMW Introduces M4 CS VR46 With Only 46 Units In The World

JAKARTA - Recently, BMW introduced the M4 CS VR46 Edition in order to pay tribute to the Italian MotoGP legend who is now competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship with the manufacturer, Valentino Rossi.

Based on the M4 CS model presented as a road-legal vehicle, this special edition is limited to only 46 units in the world or the same as Rossi's iconic figure.

Launching from Carscoops, Wednesday, February 26, these two models are presented under the names Sport and Style and mechanically both have similarities but with unique designs.

The BMW M4 CS V46 version of Sport has a different metallic Marina Bay Blue finishing with a large 46 emblem on its sides that has a slightly brighter metallic Tanzanite Blue color.

Meanwhile, Style's version has the exterior color Matte Frozen Tanzanite Blue metallic with the large Frozen Marina Bay Blue Metallic logo which is darker.

This car also features elements that are characteristic of Rossi, namely the bright yellow color wrapping the outer edge of the kidney grip, caliber brakes, and rims.

The Sport version also includes fluro yellow decorations on both sides of the roof, while both versions add yellow accents to the back door. Large VR46 details with Rossi characteristics are also added to the roofs of these two variants.

The inside has been equipped with a M Carbon bucket seat with Merino's trim skin along with a combination of Black / Night Blue.

The German manufacturer also added the Sao Paulo Yellow Alcantara color in the shoulder area and there is a VR46 logo located on the back of the head.

This yellow dress continues to the steering wheel of M Alcantara, while the center console also has a special touch and a 1/46 badge signifies this edition number.

There is no change in performance from the standard version. The BMW M4 CS VR46 is still equipped with a 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder engine which has a power of 543 hp and four-wheel drive.

However, another interesting thing is that this edition has custom wheel camber settings and adjustments to the damping, spring, and anti-roll stems. BMW also made changes to the adaptive M suspension section.
