The Victory Of The Serang Regional Election Was Canceled, The Wife Of The Mendes Will Report The Constitutional Court Judge To The MKMK

JAKARTA - The legal team for the candidates for the Regent and Deputy Regent of Serang, Banten number 02, Ratu Rachmatu Zakiyah-Najib Hamas, plans to report the judges of the Constitutional Court (MK) to the Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court (MKMK) because they are considered to have left the legal aspect.

Zakiyah-Najib's attorney, Daddy Hartadi, said that the juridical policy used by the Constitutional Court judges in the consideration of the decision was deemed inappropriate, because there was no evidence whatsoever that was done by the election organizers or the Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions (Mendes PDT), or law enforcement officials who violated the Pilkada law.

"Unsur Tidak Menyati syarat (TMS) harus memenuhi unsur penyelapan yang dilakukan oleh penyelenggara Pilkada, sementara dalil permohonan yang diajukan pemohon, hanya mendalikan penipuan yang diajukan oleh Mendes PDT saja," ujarnya dilansir ANTARA, Selasa, 25 Februari.

At the trial with Perkara Number 70/PHPU.BUP-XXIII/2025, the decision was read out directly by the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Suhartoyo, Monday (24/2).

In addition, his party also emphasized that reports related to the Mendes PDT had never been followed up by Bawaslu, who was authorized as the organizer in dealing with the issue of election violations because there were no violations.

According to him, the judge has left the legal aspect and has violated the ethical norm, so his party together with candidate pair number 02 will immediately submit a report to the MKMK.

"We will submit an application to candidate pair number 02, in order to give us the power to submit an application to the Constitutional Court regarding potential ethical violations," he said.

Daddy Hartadi admitted that he was convinced that with the 70 percent victory of Ratu Rachmatu Zakiyah-Najib Hamas and coupled with the Constitutional Court's decision which was considered to injure the pure voice of the people, the people of Serang Regency would further prove their big victory in the re-voting (PSU).

"Because the petition argument has a role factor for the Mendes, there is absolutely no role, and the big factor is Charlie Van Houten, who went to all sub-districts with Raffi Ahmad," he asserted.

In addition, according to him, it is also because of the desire of the people who want to make real and big changes fundamentally in Serang Regency.

"The candidate pair number 2 if the PSU can be the community, ulama, students, prove their victory again, then the law is guarded and we just have to carry out the Constitutional Court's decision. However, it was as previously said that there was an anomaly with this decision," concluded Daddy Hartadi.
