Kaltara Police Chief Visits Personnel For Victims Of Beatings

TARAKAN - North Kalimantan Police Chief (Kaltara) Inspector General Hary Sudwijanto directly inspected the condition of the Tarakan City Police Headquarters on Jalan Yos Sudarso on Tuesday, February 25 in the morning.

The Regional Police Chief also visited the condition of 6 personnel who were victims of the beating at the Tarakan Police, which was allegedly carried out by dozens of TNI members.

The Kapolda departed from Tanjung Selor VIP Port to Tarakan On Tuesday (25/2) at 01.00 WITA.

Arriving in Tarakan at 02.30 WITA, the Kapolda went straight to the Tarakan Police Headquarters to see the condition of the headquarters after the attack.

In his direction to the Tarakan Police personnel, the Kapolda emphasized that this incident would not interfere with the task of the police in providing services to the community.

"I ask all personnel to continue to carry out their duties professionally and ensure that public services continue to run properly," said the Kapolda.

After giving directions at the Tarakan Police, the Kapolda then continued his visit to Dr. Yusuf SK Tarakan Hospital to see the condition of 6 personnel who were victims of the beating.

The Regional Police Chief directly monitors the medical treatment provided to members who are treated and coordinates with the hospital so that the victim gets optimal treatment.

"This incident has been handled in stages, all ranks to maintain security stability in the Tarakan region," he said.

"Currently, settlement steps are carried out together with the TNI, including maintaining conduciveness and solidity between agencies," he continued.

Meanwhile, based on the data received, 6 personnel became victims of the beating, namely:

1. Bripda Fauzan Hidayat

The injuries suffered: bruises on the head and hands

2. Bripda Richard Pasambo

Bruises on the left side of the head.

3. Bripda Rahmat Kurniawan

The bruises on the right and left cheeks and bruises on both arms

4. Bripda Muhammad Nur Rizky

Torn wounds on the upper head and bruises on the left arm

5. Bripda I Putu Anugerah Septa Pratama

Torn wounds to the back of the head.

6. Bripda Algi Ari Putra

Congestion of the hands, legs, bruises on the back, lips burst and bleeding when coughing.
