Tri Brings Back Quota Alm Program For Schools And Islamic Boarding Schools In The Rural Area
JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat/IOH) through the Tri brand again presents the Sedekah Kuota program, which invites young Tri users to give alms easily in this month of Ramadan.
This program comes as a solution that combines the spirit of sharing with customers' digital habits during Ramadan. Given that according to Indosat, 50 percent of young Indonesians have strong intentions to give alms, however, they are often limited to budgets.
The Indosat Quota was first launched in 2024 and managed to collect more than 250TB quotas from 7 million Tri subscribers, which were then distributed in the form of 1,000 routers with a quota of 250GB to 588 schools and Islamic boarding schools throughout Indonesia.
This year, Indosat hopes to give alms of quota greater than the previous year. However, Indosat's VP Head of Product & Pricing Management, Nicholas Yulius Munandar, did not mention the number of targets.
"First, the hope is that the number of donors will definitely be greater, the number of customers participating in this program will also increase, and we hope that we can also provide even greater quotas," Nicholas said on Tuesday, February 25 in Jakarta.
Nicholas also explained that this year's program mechanism has changed compared to the previous year. If previously only certain packages could be used to donate, this year Indosat opens up opportunities for all customers, including new users who buy Tri's first card, to participate in this program.

"Last year's target was around 7 million customers who participated in donations. This year, we hope the number can be bigger because all packages can be used to donate," he explained.
This year's Quota Alignment Program will be addressed to schools, Islamic boarding schools, and provide support for all digital activities of the community in rural areas.
"So this is what we want to focus on and we really hope that media friends will also support this program so that we can collect more that we can give to others," he added.
