Damri Prepares 1,220 Buses During The 2025 Eid Transport Period

Perum DAMRI has prepared 1,220 commercial buses to serve the community during the transportation period for Eid Al-Fitr 2025. Tickets can also be ordered online 45 days before the homecoming period.

President Director of Perum DAMRI Setia N Milatia Moemin explained that the 1,220 commercial buses prepared will serve 69,000 trips with a total capacity of 1.5 million seats.

"We provide 1,220 buses between cities, between provinces. This is an increase compared to last year but it was thin. Because the Eid holiday period (year) is longer," he said at a press conference at the Ministry of SOEs, Jakarta, Tuesday, February 25.

Regarding the peak of the homecoming flow, Setia said, it is estimated that it will occur from March 26 to 28, 2025. Meanwhile, the peak of backflow on April 6 to 7, 2025.

Setia said online ticket sales had also opened 45 days before the peak of the homecoming flow on February 6, 2025, both at the DAMRI Apps and the Online Travel Agent.

"Tickets can be ordered starting February 14, 2025 so that customers can prepare travel plans carefully. We also have a 10 percent discount for purchases through DAMRI Apps," he said.

Currently, continued Setia, online ticket sales for the Eid transportation period are tickets that have been sold as much as 50 percent of the tickets provided.

According to Setia, the number of online ticket sales is relatively small. This is because there are still many people who buy tickets directly.

"Because usually people in the regions still like to buy tickets directly," he said.
