Strategy Buys More Than 20 Thousand Bitcoins, Total Ownership Now 499 Million BTC
JAKARTA - Strategy, formerly known as MicroStrategy, purchased an additional 20,356 Bitcoin (BTC) on February 21, with an average price of 97,514 US dollars (Rp1.59 billion) per BTC, bringing the total transaction to 1.99 million US dollars (Rp32.3 billion).
Michael Saylor, CEO of Strategy, announced that the funds will be directly used for Bitcoin (BTC) purchases. And this purchase lists Strategy as one of the largest Bitcoin (BTC) holders in the world.
Through this acquisition, the company's total Bitcoin ownership increased to 499,096 BTC, with a value of around 47.62 billion US dollars (Rp774.9 trillion) and an average purchase price of 66,357 US dollars (Rp1.08 billion) per BTC.
However, according to the Pintu platform, the company's MSTR stock price has fallen so far this year, raising concerns among investors and market analysts.
Despite facing challenges, Strategy remains focused on long-term prospects, with Michael Saylor saying he will continue to make Bitcoin (BTC) purchases even though the market shows volatility

Analysts from BeInCrypto noted that the supply of Bitcoin (BTC) on the exchange has dropped dramatically to only 2.5 million BTC, which could trigger future supply shocks.
The continuous purchase by Strategy could increase this pressure and possibly trigger the next bullish cycle for Bitcoin (BTC).
If this happens, the negative impact of massive stock sales could be minimized and might bring significant profits to Strategy and its shareholders, Pintu explained.
