Permits For Nightclubs In Cianjur That Operate During Ramadan Can Be Revoked
CIANJUR - The Cianjur Regency Government, West Java, has banned nightclubs from operating during the month of Ramadan. The district government will impose strict sanctions up to the revocation of permits for managers who commit violations.
Cianjur Regent Mohammad Wahyu Ferdian said, to ensure that no nightclubs operate during Ramadan, his party asked the Cianjur Regency Satpol PP to carry out routine patrols.
"Cianjur Regency, known as the city of santri, strictly prohibits all nightclubs from operating during the month of Ramadan, if anyone violates, please report it, we will take firm action," he said when contacted in Cianjur, Antara, Tuesday, February 25.
His party immediately issued an official circular regarding the closure of night entertainment venues during Ramadan, so that it can be applied and obeyed by owners or managers of entertainment venues to appreciate people who perform fasting.
He asked the public to participate in monitoring and reporting if they found any nightclubs that were still operating during the month of Ramadan, in order to take firm action, starting from sealing to revocation of permits.
"The Circular will be sent soon so that it can be implemented and there will be no entertainment venues that violate it, we hope that the community can carry out worship in peace if they find an entertainment venue that is open immediately report it," he said.
He added that not only nightclubs, his party also asked owners and managers of restaurants and cafes in Cianjur not to open outlets during the day but to adjust the schedule nearing the breaking of the fast.
This will be supervised by the Cianjur Satpol PP together with related agencies and agencies so that they can be obeyed in order to maintain the safety and comfort of the community during fasting without any disturbances.
