Anthropic Launches Claude 3.7 Sonnets, Can Give Quick And Slow Answer

JAKARTA - Anthropic launched Claude 3.7 Sonnet, the company's artificial intelligence (AI) model, which is claimed to be smarter and combines a "hybrid broadcast" capability to solve complex problems.

The company says that Claude 3.7 Sonnet offers two modes, namely a fast mode to provide instant answers and a longer-thinking mode to provide a deeper answer.

We developed Claude 3.7 Sonnets with a different philosophy from the models of reasoning on the market. Just like humans who use one brain for quick response and deep reflection, we believe reasoning should be an integrated ability of the leading models," Anthropic wrote in his official announcement quoted Tuesday, February 25.

Claude 3.7 Sonnet is now available on all Hamid's packages, including Free, Pro, Team, and Enterprise, as well as through the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Cloud's Vertex AI.

For prices, Anthropic gives the same price as its predecessor, namely 3 US dollars (Rp48 thousand) per million input tokens and 15 US dollars (Rp244 thousand) per million output tokens.

In addition, Anthropic also introduced Claude Code, a command line-based tool designed to assist developers in live coding tasks from their terminals.

Claude 3.7 Sonnet showed a significant increase in front-end web coding and development tasks, making it a powerful tool for the developer community.

Claude Code is now available as a limited research preview, and allows developers to delegate substantial engineering tasks to Claude directly from their terminals.
