Chery Tiggo 8 PHEV Can Be Ordered, Estimated Prices

JAKARTA - At the IIMS 2025 event, PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) introduced the latest technology embedded in the Tiggo 8 series, the technology in question, namely Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV).

The model stole the attention of many people, even according to CSI Head of Brand Department, Rifkie Setiawan, not a few visitors have asked about the car pinned by PHEV.

"Many have asked about this Tiggo 8 PHEV, we are not yet officially selling it, we are just showing off, and as a sign that Chery will launch this year," he said during a talk with the media some time ago.

So can this car be ordered? The answer is yes. This was revealed by the Regional Manager of CSI Willy Winawan.

"Consumers who are interested are allowed to make orders," said Willy.

Willy also revealed that the estimated price of Tiggo 8 PHEV, he said the blind booking price was estimated at IDR 600 million.

"For the sign, it starts from Rp. 10-20 million, yes, at least Rp. 10 million," said Willy.

For the Indonesia Chery market, it has not disclosed the specifications of the car, but the Tiggo 8 PHEV has been present in the Philippines. In dimensions, the Tiggo 8 PHEV offers a spacious cabin with a configuration of 7 seats, there is also a large panoramic sunset that makes the cabin look bigger.

Regarding the heart of the runway, this car is equipped with a 4 cylinder engine, 1,500 cc with turbocharger technology. On paper, it can produce a maximum power of 153 Tk and a peak torque of 230 Nm. This Chinese brand claims that its car has a total distance of 1,300 km.
