Authority Says These Six Banks Are Ready To Do Development At IKN After Eid 2025
JAKARTA - A total of six bank companies will start construction in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) after Lebaran 2025.
The construction is expected to be completed in a short time so that it can operate in the first quarter of 2026.
This was conveyed by the Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono on the PPP IKN Market Sounding agenda at the PU Ministry Auditorium, Jakarta, Monday, February 24.
"There are six banks that will build after this Eid. So after Ramadan, he will build. Now these banks (such as) BCA, Kaltara, BNI, Mandiri, BRI, BTN. We will build immediately in this area, the target is that the first quarter of 2026 will start operating," said Basuki in the PPP IKN Market Sounding agenda at the PU Ministry Auditorium, Jakarta, Monday, February 24.
Basuki said that his party encouraged the six banks to immediately realize the construction because they had carried out the groundbreaking last year.
In fact, in the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) carried out by the six banks, the construction is targeted to be carried out 1.5 years after the groundbreaking is carried out.
However, because there was an impetus to accelerate the development of IKN from President Prabowo Subianto, OIKN asked the six bank companies to immediately carry out construction.
"We have called again those who have groundbreaking, when to build," said Basuki.
"That's because the PKS used to be given a year and a half. So they are still being arranged. Well, we want to be fast (now)," he said.

Basuki said that some of the projects agreed last year were still accompanied by funding from the state budget.
According to Basuki, the State Budget will also support development in phase two, namely to build a judiciary and legislative area.
"So, in 2025 in terms of the state budget, we will build roads, then for judiciary and legislative," he concluded.
