Rosan About Danantara Is Immune To Law: Can Be Audited By BPK And KPK
JAKARTA - CEO of Danantara Indonesia Rosan Roeslani denied Danantara was above the law.
He ensured that the investment management institutions he manages can be audited by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
First, what I want to say is that there is no immunity to the law in this country. So the KPK can, especially if there are inappropriate or criminal actions, very, very well. BPK can, right, there is a public service obligation (PSO) program," he told reporters at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Monday, February 24.
Rosan emphasized that state-owned companies that are still carrying out PSO or public service obligations can also be audited by the BPK.
"It can also be audited for companies with PSO. So, this news must be straightened out," he said.
Rosan also said that Danantara Indonesia is the most supervised institution because it is directly under the coordination of President Prabowo Subianto.
"And all of that is watching us and participating in active combat on the device ensuring that we are going well," he said.
Rosan also said that he would follow Prabowo's message where Danantara must always be open.
He said Danantara was a big responsibility.
"The President's message is that we always have to be open and we are open. I tell my friends here, this is a big responsibility and God willing, if we run this well and also with a mature perspective, and also without any conflict of interest, God willing, it can work," he said.
