Danantara Will Partner With Commission VI And Commission XI Of The DPR

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission VI of the House of Representatives, Andre Rosiade, said that the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (Danantara), which was just launched by President Prabowo, will partner with two DPR commissions. namely Commission VI for SOEs and Commission XI for financial affairs.

"Commission VI is a commission that gave birth to Danantara. Earlier, the President also conveyed his gratitude to Commission VI and Commission XI for helping the establishment of the Danantara," said Andre, Monday, February 24.

Later, continued Andre, there will be a separation between the BUMN holding and the investment holding company in Danantara.

Regarding the appointment of commissions in the DPR in partnership with each of the holdings, the Gerindra legislator handed it over to the leadership of the DPR

"Later it will be the leadership of the DPR who will convey it. Later, the leadership will determine which partner," said Andre.

"Later there will be an investment holding, there will be a BUMN holding, like that," he added.

Andre hopes that Danantara will be able to improve the national economy and create jobs.

"This aerospace is successful, successful, and can open up millions of jobs and the Indonesian economy has grown by 8 percent. That is our optimism and we, the DPR, fully support the government's steps," he said.

It is known that President Prabowo Subianto officially launched the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI) today, Monday, February 24. BPI Danantara as a sovereign wealth fund which aims to manage state assets worth more than USD 900 billion.

President Prabowo in his remarks emphasized that Danantara will focus on investment in strategic sectors, including renewable energy, advanced manufacturing industry, and food production.

With a national economic growth target of 8 percent per year, Danantara is expected to be the main engine in sustainable economic transformation.

In line with this vision, Danantara will manage various projects with the principles of transparent and professional governance, in order to ensure maximum benefits for the national economy.
