Apple Intelligence Will Be Integrated With Google Gemini
JAKARTA Apple is partnering with OpenAI to offer ChatGPT in its Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature. Now, the company is rumored to be presenting Gemini support, Google's AI model.
Since introducing Apple Intelligence, the iPhone and iPad manufacturer revealed that Siri's assistant will be integrated with ChatGPT. That way, Siri can provide better, more contextual, and other answers.
When holding WWDC24, the annual application developer event, one of Apple's executives, addressed that they wanted to offer integration of AI models other than ChatGPT, one of which was Gemini. It looks like Gemini's integration will be coming soon.
A code Detective named Aaron Perris on platform X, citing from a 9to5mac report, said that Apple's latest iOS shows this integration. In the beta version of iOS 18,4, Apple will offer Google and OpenAI options for third-party AI models.
