46 Regional Heads From PDIP Have Not Yet Taken Part In The Retret In Magelang, Deputy Minister Of Home Affairs: It's OK
A total of 46 regional heads from the PDI-P (PDIP) have not been present to attend the regional head recruitment at the Military Academy (Akmil) in Magelang, Central Java. Meanwhile, 51 other PDIP cadres have joined since the first day.
Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri), Bima Arya Sugiarto, has no problem with the presence of 46 PDIP cadres in Akmil Magelang. He said regional heads who have not come can join the retreat at any time.
It's just that, he said, the new regional head will miss the session delivered by the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas).
"Yes, that's okay. Because we see this is a ministerial session starting tonight and tomorrow. Those who are not present have lost the Lemhannas session," said Bima Arya at the Magelang Military Academy Complex, Sunday, February 23.
Nevertheless, Bima Arya emphasized that the implementation of a retreat for regional heads is a mandate from the law. He hopes that all regional heads can join forces and get briefing material.
"But we hope that those who will join will get a lot of perspectives from all Coordinating Ministers and related ministers who will convey the points of Asta Cita," continued the PAN politician.
When asked if they would attend on Monday, February 24, today, Bima Arya did not provide a definite answer.
"Friends, we'll see," he said.
