After Being Exhibited At IIMS, Chery Tiggo 8 PHEV Will Soon Be Launched In Indonesia
PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) brought something new at the IIMS 2025 event which officially ended yesterday, namely introducing the Tiggo 8 SUV which has been embedded with the Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) technology.
According to Head of Brand Department CSI Rifkie Setiawan, 2024 for Chery is the year for pure electric vehicles by successfully making extraordinary sales, and in 2025 it will continue to achieve the same achievement.
"But we are also in 2025 that PHEV will echo for Chery, that's the reason why we showed off the car (Tiggo 8 PHEV) at IIMS 2025," he said, when met at the IIMS exhibition.
Furthermore, the man who is familiarly called Rifkie said that at the IIMS event, Chery was an event to introduce the technology that would indeed be brought in in 2025.

"In the near future we will launch both the technology and the products that carry PHEV technology," he added.
As is known, the car has already launched in neighboring the Philippines. In dimensions, Tiggo 8 PHEV offers a spacious cabin with a 7-seater configuration, there is also a large panoramic sunset that makes the cabin look bigger.
Regarding the heart of the runway, this car is equipped with a 4 cylinder engine, 1,500 cc with turbocharger technology. On paper, it can produce a maximum power of 153 Tk and a peak torque of 230 Nm. This Chinese brand claims that its car has a total distance of 1,300 km.
