Fatigue Follows Retret, 3 Regional Heads Are Rushed To Tidar Hospital
Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya said that three regional heads experienced fatigue after attending the third day of briefing or retreat at the Military Academy (Akmil) Tidar Valley, Magelang, Central Java.
According to Bima, the three regional heads were referred to the Tidar Hospital for further medical treatment.
"It looks like fatigue. Some are diffuse, some are high in tension, blood sugar is high. The doctor's conclusion is too tired," Bima told the media crew at the Akmil complex, Magelang, Central Java, Sunday, February 23.
Bima admitted that he had visited the three regional heads, but had not disclosed their identities.
"The two are staying overnight, one is only infused," he added.
In addition to the three being treated, Bima said there were two other regional heads who were also exhausted so they had to rest in the tent. Therefore, his party provides dispensation so that they do not follow the briefing until they recover.
"We give them dispensation, for now they rest first and do not take part in learning. Hopefully tomorrow they will be fit again," he said.

Bima did not deny that the fatigue was caused by a long series of activities that must be followed by regional heads, ranging from medical examinations, dirty and clean rehearsals, inauguration, to retreats. Moreover, many regional heads are elderly.
"Because the series starts from the inauguration at the Palace until now, it is very tiring. Especially for those who are old," concluded Bima Arya.
