Prabowo Susianto's High Trust And Electability Level Becomes The Basis Of KIM Plus Agreeing To The Permanent Coalition

President Prabowo Subianto has discussed the formation of a permanent coalition to support the government until 2029 in front of the general chairmen of political parties members of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Plus in the gathering in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, a few days ago.

According to Indonesian Political Indicators Researcher, Bawono Kumoro, the formation of a permanent coalition is very possible to agree on KIM Plus political parties. This is because the level of public trust in the Prabowo government is at its highest.

"The results of the Indonesian Political Indicators survey regarding public satisfaction with President Prabowo's 100-day performance show that 79.3 percent of respondents were satisfied with Prabowo's performance for more than 3 months as President," he said, Sunday, February 23, 2025.

He stated that as long as Prabowo is able to maintain the level of public satisfaction with his government, KIM members will also be cool. The reason is, the coalition can be stronger if the high level of public trust turns out to increase Prabowo's electability as a candidate in the 2029 presidential election.

"Will this high number continue to last? In addition, will Prabowo's electability compared to other candidates ahead of the upcoming 2029 presidential election remain high? That will also determine how strong the parties in the Red and White Cabinet are," added Bawono.

Bawono Kumoro's statement was confirmed after at least three political parties expressed their support for the Prabowo government. Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, said that his party would continue with the Prabowo government to build Indonesia.

The chairman of the PAN faction of the DPR RI, Putri Zulkifli Hasan, emphasized that the formation of a permanent coalition is a strategic step in strengthening government stability.

PAN has always solidly supported President Prabowo. We believe that the continuity of political leadership and stability is the key to success in realizing the big vision of national development. PAN is ready to be at the forefront of overseeing government policies in parliament," he continued.

Most recently, the General Chairperson of the Gelora Party, Anis Matta, also expressed support from the Gelora Party for the Prabowo Subianto government. In fact, the Gelora Party will support Prabowo's candidacy in the upcoming 2029 presidential election.

"We will support him again as a presidential candidate in 2029. However, he himself said that we must succeed in this period first. We consider his candidacy later to be the result of our success in managing the current government," said Anis Matta, Saturday, February 22, 2025.
